Kids' Drawing Tutorial from WeDrawAnimals.com
We Draw Animals is a great website that has simple drawing tutorials for children. As a homeschooling family, this has been a resource we have loved to utilize. Cheyenne is five-years-old and loves to draw and tell stories.
Kathy from We Draw Animals was kind enough to create lady bug and tiger tutorial. This gave the kids a chance to not only create a drawing, but tell a story to go along with it as well.
Cheyenne drew a lady bug and wrote a story to go along with it. "Hallie the lady bug lived in a hole. She liked to play. Her favorite food was celery and lettuce."
There's tutorials for all kinds of animals like camels, bees, butterflies, and more! I've enjoyed being able to tie this into our learning units. Matthew is learning about animal habitats for science, so the ground squirrel tutorial was a great addition to reinforce what he is learning. There's also facts about the animals, too!
