Pregnancy Update: Week 12 (Baby #5)
How Far Along? 12 weeks
Baby is: About the size of a plum
Weight Gain? None
Maternity Clothes? Still not a must.
Sleep? No complaints there!
Symptoms? I still have the hyperemesis. It was terrible over the weekend. I finally decided to go to the E.R. for to receive IV fluids and medication. The Zofran quit working, so I am trying a new med this week.
Food Cravings? Nothing really. Most food makes me feel queasy. :(
Best Moment This Week? We got to hear the heartbeat in the ER, which was abut 150 bpm.
Looking Forward To? My appointment yesterday had to be rescheduled, but I finally get to go in on Saturday.

How exciting that you got to hear the heartbeat already. It was much later with both of mine.
ReplyDeleteHope you start feeling better soon. Looking forward to following your journey!
ReplyDeleteNice to hear you are doing good. I remember those days of being preggy- I miss them! Lol
ReplyDeleteAww I understand taking Zofran, my morning sickness got really bad with my 3rd one. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteGod Bless you, Baby #5. Each of my pregnancies got harder and harder that I had to stop at #3. They were all stories though.
ReplyDeleteDespite the trip to the ER it sounds like this are moving along well with the baby.
ReplyDeleteI've heard horrible stories about the hyperemesis - I'm so sorry! But thank goodness that normally means you're growing a happy baby! Keep up the good work!
ReplyDeleteLooks like you are having an awesome pregnancy! Congrats again. Enjoy the sleep!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations!!! What a blessing to hear the heartbeat too. It does go so quickly!
ReplyDeleteWow! I felt exactly like you and was always craving cherry blasters!!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! Five kids, that is how many kids were in my family and it is a good number. I hope you start feeling better and they can find a medicine that works for you.
ReplyDeleteNumber 5! Congratulations! I hope you're feeling less queasy soon.
ReplyDeleteI hope your hyperemesis isn't a permanent thing. I can imagine being that sick to my stomach all of the time.
ReplyDeleteWith my daughter, I was sick and queasy the whole time. Even thinking about food made me sick! I hope the new medicine helps you out.
ReplyDeleteIf the ole wives' tales are right, you're having a girl! Congratulations on getting sleep. I got none with my girls. LOL!
ReplyDeleteI have to say that I'm a bit jealous of the no weight gain, being 12 weeks & with baby number 5. The mere thought of being pregnant always had me gain 20 lb. instantly! Although I'm sure that has to do with your hyperemesis, so I hope you feel better soon!
ReplyDeleteGosh! I can't imagine myself pregnant and undergoing all that but I am sure in the end its all worth it.
ReplyDeleteYou poor thing. I hope the nausea and vomiting slows down for you very soon. I used ginger and it helped immensely for me. I know that isn't the case for everyone though. HUGS
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry your Zofran quit working. Congrats though, on the great baby news. :)
ReplyDeleteA new baby is so exciting. Congrats. Hope you are start feeling better soon.
ReplyDeleteWell it will all be worth it in the end!! I hope you feel better soon!
