Pregnancy Update: Week 14 (Baby #5)
Happy New Year, everyone! Here I am in the second trimester. Things are finally starting to move along. Perhaps we'll talk with my midwife about scheduling an ultrasound soon. Here's my update for 14 weeks!
Due date: June 30th
How far along: 14 weeks, 2 days
Next appointment: January 10th
Gender: Unknown
Total weight gain/loss: Pretty sure I haven't gained any yet since the morning sickness is just letting up.
Stretch marks: Only what already exists ;)
Swelling: None
Maternity clothes: Out for the comfort of them, but I live in sweatpants anyway. ;)
Belly button: Too early for that
Sleep: I've been sleeping a ton this week since I've been down with the flu.
Food cravings: Cherry tomatoes
Symptoms: Nothing new other than I think I'm starting to show a bit.
Movement: I was just thinking today that I've felt a couple of twinges here and there. A fifth time mom knows. ;)
Labor signs: Too early for that.
What I miss: Being able to reach things up high. My husband has banned me from that. Lol.
What I'm loving: Being in the second trimester. The pregnancy feels "real" now.
What I'm looking forward to: My next prenatal appointment is coming up soon. I always enjoy going to see my midwife.
Best moment this week: I don't have to take Unisom every day to keep the sickness at bay. I think it's gone officially! *knock on wood*

Loved my second trimesters. That first baby flutter is so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI had a midwife too, loved it. I did a home birth, it was awesome.
