Buttons Cloth Diaper Review & Giveaway

I have heard so much about Buttons Cloth Diapers over the last year and I'm very excited to be working with them. Buttons makes all-in-two cloth diapers, which means there is a reusable shell and inserts that are changed out. There are, of course, all sorts of adorable prints and colors. The shells seem of superior quality if I am being completely honest. For this review, we tried out a cover in afternoon tea and a small size daytime insert on Ellia between the ages of 2 and 3 months. She weighs about 12.2lbs.

While I am immediately attracted to the adorable prints, I am a huge fan of the double gussets on the shells. Ellia, at only three months old, has been hard to fit in both cloth and disposable diapers, so we deal with blow outs frequently. These shells were able to handle a pretty decent sized explosion! They are made of two layers of PUL.

These inserts snap right into the shell and come in two sizes. Small works for about 9-20lbs and a larger size 20-35 lbs. The daytime insert did very well holding her pee, as Ellia is a very heavy wetter. She almost always "has to go" after each nursing session. The inserts can be snapped together for doubling. They are available in a hemp/cotton blend or four layers of microfiber with a layer of fleece on top.

I am also a huge fan of the price! Honestly, there isn't a much more affordable cloth diaper out there. Diaper covers are $11.00-12.50 and inserts range from $3.50-7.75. You can buy their cloth diapers on their website! Be sure to also follow them on Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest.
